As a child I, like most men my age, was amazed by the strength of Superman. Few boys didn't watch in awe as the man of steel rescued those in danger and flew through the air, single handedly carrying busses, trains, and buildings. Possessing unlimited power and strength, Superman was a hero to many. But when it came to hero's, for me there was none other than my dad. The only man that made me feel safe, and in my eyes, had infinite strength and feared nothing. The man that I knew I'd find waiting for me each and every day I walked out of my kindergarten class and who's presence brought a smile to my face. I wished and hoped that when I grew up, I too would be so strong. I can't say that my wish ever completely came true, as I still quite often find myself looking for strength. And while my dad will always be a hero, today I find myself in awe of a much greater strength. The tremendous strength of a child who's will to fight and survive a battle of heart disease, exceeds even my childhood perceptions of what a hero is. Cameron, I am so proud of you and the strength you possess. This site was built with much love for you son... you are my hero.
